You can perform classic limit equilibrium slope analysis of soil or rock slopes by the method of slices or newer stress-based methods. Comprehensive 2D slip surface searching and pore-water pressure conditions and innovative 3D spatial analysis allow modelling at new levels.

Create geometrically complex digital twin 3D models with the SVDESIGNER™ conceptual model builder. Create 3D models from triangulated surfaces (TINS). Implement multiple 3D model-building methodologies (extrusions, 2D cross-section stitching, 3D layer cake, block models, or material volume method).

Reduce solution times
Parallel processing and improved solution algorithm greatly reduce solution times. Parallel processing and CPU core sensing and management controller implemented for MPA computations. One or two-way sensitivity analysis allows the generation of a contoured surface based on the relationship between two input variables.
Comprehensive critical slip surface searching methods are available, including Greco, Cuckoo, moving wedges, blocks, and hybrid ellipsoids. Optimization of critical slip surfaces in 2D and 3D are also available. Automatic determination of slip direction in 3D is included. Improved block searching in 2D is possible, as well.
Spatial searching methods
Multi-plane slope stability analysis (MPA) enables spatial slope stability analysis in 2D and 3D. Implement advanced 2D/3D probablistic analysis, such as Monte Carlo, Latin Hypercube, and the Alternative Point Estimation Method (APEM).
Support for constitutive models
Support for over 20 different soil strength models including Mohr-Coulomb, Hoek-Brown, Undrained, anisotropic methods, and unsaturated shear strength models. Strong support for both rock and soil constitutive models.
Support for reinforced slopes
Provide extensive support for reinforced slopes, including grouted anchors, micropiles, and geotextiles.
SoilVision is utilised in the mining, infrastructure, energy, arctic, and nuclear industries for the design of large earth dams, mine tailings consolidation, waste rock slope stability, retaining wall design, and foundation design in arid and arctic environments.

1D/ 2D/ 3D finite element stress/deformation modelling for geotechnical earth structures involving elasto-plastic soft-soil behaviour and consolidation as well as the elastic deformation of rock materials.

Move quickly to 3D with multiple methods of 3D geometry creation and couple 2D and 3D analysis for an improved modeling workflow. Geometry creation methods include extrusion, multi-profile stitching, boreholes, fence diagrams, surface and layers, material volumes, and block models.
Advanced slope stability methods
