Recognized as an expert in geotechnical analysis and engineering, Richard Witasse has more than 15 years of experience in working with geotechnical digital tools and geotechnical finite element analysis software. After starting his career as a software engineer in the field of finite element analysis software for reinforced concretes structures, Richard became an application engineer and worked for the global leaders in geotechnical analysis software. Richard joined PLAXIS in 2008 and has always worked since the non geotechnical consulting, customer success and training for the many users of the most popular digital solutions for geotechnical engineering and analysis. Since 2018 Richard Witasse is Principal Product Manager with Bentley Systems.

Vincent Keizer is product manager for PLAXIS 2D and 3D at Bentley Systems. He joined PLAXIS bv in 2009 as sales support engineer and soon after became involved in marketing as well, where he delivered technical and promotional content. From his role as sales support engineer, in which he frequently communicated with potential users on their needs and wishes, Vincent became gradually more involved in PLAXIS’ development roadmap and strategic planning, leading to his appointment as Product manager in 2012. After the acquisition by Bentley Systems in 2018, he became fully focused on the development roadmap and strategic planning. Together with fellow product managers, he ensures PLAXIS remains the industry’s standard for geotechnical engineering software.
