SUPA brings another fantastic opportunity to meet leading industrial leaders in the physic research field. The exhibition will see two talks take place from Professor Andrew Mackenzie, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, who will explore his research regarding the ‘Strain-tuning of Quantum Materials’. A joint public lecture will also be undertaken by Professor Wilson Poon of the Edinburgh Complex Fluids Partnership and Chair of Natural Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and the Institute of Physics in Scotland.

James Latham from Wilde Analysis will be present to provide advice and discussion about how our leading ANSYS multiphysics simulation solutions, including software, training and consulting, can greatly assist both academic and commercial research. These solutions include structural mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, low and high frequency electromagnetics and systems-level modelling, including powerful optimisation capabilities.
