Meet the Newest Member of Our Associate Team…

With the expanding demand for our technical safety and reliability services, Wilde Analysis is delighted to welcome Paul Newman as Associate. Paul will be helping our clients with MOD and Defence-related projects and brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Paul is a Ministry of Defence-trained Availability, Reliability & Maintainability (AR&M) and Cost Modelling engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in developing and implementing Cost Performance, RAMD Engineering and Life Cycle Cost processes and related skills and toolsets from concept to disposal.

Starting out as an indentured apprentice with the MoD, Paul gained engineering qualifications and held many project management roles within the Sea Systems Weapons Establishments at Bath, Portland and Portsmouth. He also carried project support roles within the Land Systems departments in London, finally reaching a senior management position.

Paul gained further experience working at the Procurement Management Training Centre in Portsmouth, Naval Support Command and as Asset Manager for the Fleet Maintenance Repair Organisation before leaving the Ministry to increase his commercial experience within the private sector in 1997.

Leading companies that Paul has worked for include Network Rail, London Underground and Babcock Marine among others.
