Webinar: Interoperability with PLAXIS and STAAD Connect Editions

For successful completion of any infrastructure projects a good understanding of soil-structure interaction is required. The exchange of information and data between structural and geotechnical engineers helps in efficient analysis and design.

Interoperability between different software solution is the easy and fast way to collaborate and share information among different project teams.

During this webinar you will learn:

  •     Understanding ISM/ iTwin Analytical Synchronizer
  •     Interoperability between STAAD.Pro CE and PLAXIS CE
  •     Soil-structure interaction

**The webcast will be streamed through your computer, so there is no dial-in number.  Please make sure your computer speakers (or headset) are turned on and the volume is set to an audible level so you can hear the presenters.

Presenters:

Rajendra Bisht

Application engineer, Design Integration analysis

Bentley Systems, Inc.

Rajendra Bisht currently works for Bentley systems as an application engineer for Geotechnical products. Before joining Bentley systems, he was an avid scholar and was pursuing his doctoral degree from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. His research area has contributed in the field of assessment of foundation for high rise structures. He focused mainly on developing instrumented piles their calibration and performance, conducting centrifuge tests for pile, raft and piled raft foundation to examine their performance and numerical simulation of the same using finite element tool. His area of interest also includes slope stabilization, tunnels, soil reinforcements, deep excavation and soil structure interaction. During his tenure he has published articles in reputed journals and conferences. Due to his expertise on PLAXIS, he has conducted many a technical session on numerical modelling in PLAXIS for the undergraduate, postgraduate students, senior lecturers and industry professionals which has enabled them with understanding and practical implementation of a numerical tool and its importance to Geotechnical engineering.

Kaushal Aggarwal
