Wilde Sponsor Groundwater Engineering Academy

Wilde Sponsor Groundwater Engineering Academy

November 18th, 2016

Wilde Analysis are proud to announce our sponsorship of the Groundwater Engineering Academy, as they continue to host seminars and workshops tackling the biggest issues in groundwater control.

The Groundwater Engineering Academy (GEA) acts as a platform to host seminars and workshops and was established by OGI Groundwater Engineering, leading specialists with more than 20 years of experience in providing groundwater related services to clients and contractors in the UK. OGI numerically model the situations that they deal with in their consultancy using the PlaxFlow add on for leading geotechnical finite element software, PLAXIS 2D.

Wilde Analysis sponsored its first GEA seminar and workshop on 18th October, 2016 which was based around understanding groundwater control. This gave delegates a chance to learn about the techniques, systems and skills used in groundwater control from experienced professionals with first-hand experience.

The October event was a complete success and Wilde are delighted to be a sponsor of the GEA moving forward. The upcoming event, Groundwater Control: Outstanding Successes and Spectacular Failures is set to echo its predecessor as a highly informative and interesting seminar and workshop. Taking place on 30th November, delegates will be given  a unique insight into the challenges encountered during the design and implementation of the groundwater control system.
