Ansys HFSS – Introduction to Antenna Design
Gain the skills necessary to design antennas and antenna arrays in Ansys High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), including near field and far field analysis, beam forming and beam steering, and how to effectively use Ansys Broadband adaptive meshing. Obtain an understanding of the various radiation boundary options, including Finite Element Boundary Integral (FE-BI) and Perfectly Matched Boundary Layer (PML). Learn how intelligent application of these will accelerate your solves and increase the confidence you have in your results.
The training sessions will follow a worked example, from generation of the geometry and mesh, to boundary selection, results, optimetrics, concluding with finite antenna array analysis.
Who Should Attend?
Antenna design engineers and engineering managers, who have little to no prior experience with Ansys HFSS.
A background (or basic understanding) of antenna physics is recommended for any attendees on this course.
