CFD analysis generally takes a long time and requires significant computational resources, which makes it difficult to perform real-time monitoring or predictive maintenance.

In addition, prior knowledge/experience is required to set up CFD simulations and extract meaningful results. Reduced order models (ROMs) can significantly speed up the process and make simulations easier. A ROM is a simplified version of a high-fidelity computational model that preserves essential behavior and dominant effects while reducing the solution time and computational storage capacity required.

In this webinar, a series of ROMs will be shown, along with the workflow to create the ROMs. These examples will highlight how ROMs can be used by operators/non-simulation experts to perform ‘what-if’ analysis within seconds without compromising on accuracy.
