In some cases it may be necessary to work backwards when creating or updating a design. For example, it may be important to know what forces are being generated by a particular displacement observed in the real world.
In other cases, a legacy part that does not exist as a CAD model may require an update. This demonstration will focus on reverse engineering techniques for simulating and understanding the behavior of real world parts and designs.
Speaker – Brian Bueno, Senior Technical Support Engineer
Brian joined SpaceClaim in 2012, bringing with him over 6 years of in depth CAD expertise from his time working as a support engineer and trainer at PTC. As part of the ANSYS team, Brian provides support for ANSYS SpaceClaim and ANSYS Discovery products. He also assists the presales team by delivering product demonstrations to potential customers and training classes to current users. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University.
