In ANSYS 19.1, we’ve made important improvements to Discovery SpaceClaim in the areas of shared topology, scripting and topology optimization. Graphics improvements to shared topology make it easier to identify connection types while increasing the speed and robustness of the simulations. The scripting environment has increased coverage for common sketching commands and patterning, making it easier to record modeling operations. For additive manufacturing, Discovery SpaceClaim now supports variable-sized lattice structures driven by ANSYS Mechanical, further improving the intelligence that topology optimization delivers.
