System Reliability Modelling is the analysis of a System to understand its reliability, availability, maintainability performance. This is done through breaking the system down into subsystems, assemblies and components and their arrangement.Common methods use logic diagrams, such as reliability block diagrams (RBDs) and fault trees.

ReliaSoft BlockSim provides a comprehensive platform for system reliability, availability, maintainability and related analyses using exact computations or discrete event simulation. The software offers a sophisticated graphical interface that allows you to model the simplest or most complex systems and processes using methods such as RBDs, Fault Trees and more.

This course aims to enable delegates to:

  • Perform Reliability Block Diagram Analysis on a System with 5 components with some in series and parallel configuration
  • Perform Fault Tree Analysis a System with 5 initiating events with both Or and And gatesconfigurations.
  • Perform System RAM Improvement Analysis

Who Should Attend?

This course is intended to provide detailed training on the use of ReliaSoft BlockSim and System Modelling, for people that will be required to perform common RAM analysis techniques in their work.

Prerequisites

The course assumes prior knowledge on the subject of RAM Analysis with an ideal precursor training course being the RAM Analysis Fundamentals course provided by Wilde.

Although this course be training user in ReliaSoft BlockSim, it is not intended to provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the software tool, but will provide the users with information on how to continuously learn with the tool.

Duration

2 Days

The course commences at 9:00am and finishes at approximately 5:00pm.

Course Fee

£1050, including lunch and refreshments.

Online Training Option

An online course is also available. Please contact us for details.

Registration / Further Information

We can also run this course on a date of your choosing or as a bespoke course. Please let us know if you are interested in this option.
