Learning or reviewing the fundamentals of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), including best practice, will enable you to get the most out of your own simulation software or assess the CFD undertaken by others with confidence.

This course can be delivered as an online version of our well established classroom-based course and will provide you with a solid foundation in the basic theory and application of CFD methods – helping you to run and critically evaluate simulations effectively and accurately.

The training sessions combine formal presentations with a number of practical workshops to reinforce learning. We use a flexible and robust web conferencing system for the online courses.

Who Should Attend?

Designers, engineers, researchers, students and managers who are currently or may in the future be involved with CFD within their role.

This course is suitable for anyone using CFD software directly, involved in specifying CFD projects or reviewing, checking and interpreting results within CFD reports.

As a fundamentals course, it is assumed that delegates do not have any previous experience. However, it can also serve as a refresher course if you have some existing CFD experience obtained from work or academic studies.

Duration

This online course is split into 2 sessions over 2 consecutive days at approximately 3 hours each.

Sessions commence at 9am.

Course Fee

£300

Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
