This training course provides an in-depth overview of the various dynamic analysis types available within Ansys Mechanical.  If your design will undergo any type of motion, the concepts presented in this course will equip you with knowledge critical to a successful design.  It can be challenging to take the information within a design or test specification and from that know what type of analysis needs to be performed.

By combining a mixture of theoretical background along with practical guidance and examples, this course will enable you to choose the type of analysis most pertinent to your needs, while giving you confidence in understanding the results and making design decisions based upon them.

Following completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the differences within each dynamic analysis type.
  • Choose the proper dynamic analysis for virtually any application.
  • Know when and how to apply damping for a given dynamic analysis.
  • Use modal analysis to assist in understanding how a structure may respond to various applied forces.
  • Use efficient modeling and analysis techniques to solve complex dynamic problems within reasonable time constraints.
  • Interpret the results of the analysis with confidence and a greater understanding.

Who Should Attend?
