Wilde MD, David Deakin is Elected to the Chamber Assembly

David Deakin was formally welcomed and certified in recognition of his new role as a member of the Assembly during the Chamber of Commerce’s recent annual general meeting.

The Chamber of Commerce Assembly is the main forum for Chamber members to bring forward business issues, discuss their impact and agree the action that needs taking. It acts as a sounding board, decision-making group and a focal point to tackle business issues across the Greater Manchester business community.

Having been proposed and seconded, David now has a platform to champion local business issues and discuss the three biggest issues currently facing Greater Manchester; Brexit, the elected Mayor and the Northern Powerhouse. As well continuing to represent Wilde Analysis, David, along with fellow assembly members will play a crucial role in representing the Chamber’s 4,800 members.

My hope is to influence and encourage collaboration between  chamber members to maximize the potential of engineering talent within Greater Manchester
