Wilde in the Community: Supporting The Wellspring

December 14th, 2016

Wilde Analysis are excited to announce that we will be supporting local charity, The Wellspring, in their efforts to aid those who are and at risk of being homeless.  This begins with The Wellspring being nominated as the recipient of Wilde’s annual Christmas donation.

Based in Stockport town centre, the charity provides services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless 365 days a year. They aim to considerably reduce future homelessness in Stockport by engaging and providing services to the ‘at risk’ group.

At The Wellspring, a range of services is provided, including a drop-in service from a GP, with referrals made to other specialist services such as drug and alcohol teams. Free food and drink is available all year round, and people rough sleeping can access showers and clean clothing as well as blankets and sleeping bags.

The Wellspring also provides educational courses: their goal is to give people with low skill levels the ability and confidence to become independent. The charity provides many health services to homeless and disadvantaged people, not just in Stockport but from surrounding areas including Manchester, Tameside and Salford.

We would like to invite our clients to also support the excellent work of this charity. Donations can be made via:

Currently, the charity is running a rucksack project, and donations are still very welcome past the stated deadline.

We will continue to support our local community in 2017 and are planning a number of further initiatives.
