Applied Reliability Symposium 2016

The 2016 Applied Reliability Symposium Europe (ARS) proved to be another highly popular event, attracting almost 200 delegates. Focusing on reliability, durability, asset lifecycle management and related fields, this annual Symposium provides a unique forum to discuss current best practices and real-world solutions. As in previous years, multiple industries were represented, with attendees coming from 122 organisations across 32 countries. This created excellent networking opportunities, with the chance to talk with, and learn from, fellow reliability practitioners.

Taking place in Bavaria for the first time, the event ran for 3 full days and included 39 presentations, covering topics such as: Reliability in Design; Reliability in Operations and Maintenance; Durability and Physics of Failure. A new Durability and Fatigue track was included this year, enabling delegates to better understand how durability is directly associated with success in reliability, and that best practices in reliability and durability are most effective when used together.

Following a vote by attendees, awards were given for the best three presentations. For more information, visit http://www.arsymposium.org/europe/2016/index.htm
