Autodesk Netfabb Simulation provides physics-based FEA of additive processes, predicting the resulting thermal history, residual stress and distortion of manufactured parts based on known process parameters. With this information, part performance can be improved while development time and cost is reduced.
Process simulation solving capabilities are available to all Autodesk Netfabb Premium or Ultimate users by default through the Autodesk cloud computing service using Autodesk Cloud Credits. If you want to perform simulations on a local machine or take advantage of all of the available features, you may alternatively purchase and install the Autodesk Netfabb Local Simulation solution.
