Founded in 1970, ANSYS now employs over 1,600 employees, many of whom are engineers with advanced degrees and extensive training in fields such as finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics and design optimisation. Their headquarters are in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., and they have more than 60 strategic sales locations throughout the world.
