NISA has capabilities to build high-quality parameterized solid and surface models from any paper drawing for FEA analysis. Simple models can be built in DISPLAY or more complex ones can be imported into DISPLAY from commercial 3rd party CAD software programs. The 3D-CAD interface module enables seamless import capabilities. Two options are available:
- Direct CAD system interfaces, implemented by a menu command within a CAD program
- Indirect data exchange interfaces, provided by various data translators or built-in commands of DISPLAY III/IV.
