NISA is a comprehensive low cost FEA software suite used within the automotive, aerospace, energy & power, oil & gas, electronics packaging and civil engineering industries. With over 30 years of development, it is an ideal solution if you are generating FEA models from scratch or would like the ability to intervene in meshing and other pre-processing stages. It is widely recognised as one of the most capable FEA systems for composite structures.
Analysis types available within the NISA modular product range include stress, seismic, vibration, composite materials, kinematics, fatigue, thermal, PCB specific assessment, fluid dynamics, civil structural and electromagnetics.
The latest version of the NISA pre- and postprocessor, DISPLAY IV has improved interoperability and interfaces more closely with a variety of popular CAD file formats. This complements the advanced tetra-meshing capability, enabling users to easily create solid mesh models with minimal effort. Report generation capabilities are also available in both the pre- and post-processing stages.
NISA is developed by Cranes Software International Limited.
NISA is a mature comprehensive suite of general purpose finite element programs for mechanical applications. It is particularly popular as a cost effective FEA option and worth considering if you are looking for a system to create finite element models from scratch as well as using CAD models. It has...
