CFD Flow Simulation & Visualisation for Built Environment
  • 26th March 2018
    4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

CFD is widely used by built environment engineers to evaluate pedestrian comfort, wind-channelling and other external flow air movement phenomena. Often these CFD simulations are performed using steady average wind-flow boundary conditions although there is growing interest in unsteady/time-dependent simulations with more advanced turbulence modelling to look at gusting and unstable flows. These are application areas that ANSYS will continue to push the boundaries with its traditional CFD software running on multiple CPUs.

Through Discovery Live, ANSYS offers real-time CFD flow simulation and visualisation for built environment external flow applications.

Join this webinar to be introduced to the capabilities of the newly released Discovery Live and to see the software in action on typical built environment external flow applications.
