Although metal-to-plastic conversion has been around for years, many challenges still need to be resolved. One of the challenges in using plastics to replace metal is to ensure the strength and durability of the plastic components. Structural analyses are critical to creating high performance plastic parts. To get more accurate and comprehensive structural analysis results, it is necessary to take into account the process-induced properties, such as fiber-induced anisotropic mechanical properties. In this webinar, we will introduce how Moldex3D can help map critical variables to finite element models and obtain more accurate predictions for plastic parts’ structural performance.
