ANSYS Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI)
Within fluid dynamics problems, the interaction between fluids and surrounding structures in terms of heat transfer and structural reponse can be vital. The ANSYS multiphysics range of products enable you to solve fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems within a unified simulation environment from a single software developer.
In addition to the configurations shown below, other products within the ANSYS suite can combined separately to undertake FSI analysis. ANSYS CFD, ANSYS CFX and ANSYS FLUENT programs can perform one-way and two-way FSI when combined with an ANSYS Mechanical license. One-way FSI is available when these CFD solvers are used with ANSYS Professional NLT/NLS.
