We are an independent consultancy and multi-solution provider, owned and directed by Chartered Engineers. Our key strength is a highly skilled and experienced technical & commercial team, together with the most capable portfolio of engineering analysis tools available.
“The Wilde team constantly strives to deliver the highest level of customer service. Our focus is your business success. We take time to understand your needs and provide realistic solutions to meet them.” David Deakin – Managing Director
We work with a large and diverse range of UK, Irish and International engineering clients, from start-ups through to multi-national organisations, in most industrial and academic sectors.
We always strive to partner with the most innovative and progressive software developers. General purpose simulation software is ideal for many product and process design challenges while dedicated packages offer significant advantages when modelling manufacturing operations and complex materials. This is why we offer leading vertical solutions for these and other demanding applications.
Quality assurance is a vital constituent of our DNA to provide reliable, professional support and services. Our Quality Management System has been approved to ISO 9001 since 1993 and is continually refined. We are active members of industry organisations, including NAFEMS, SaRS and AFRC.
We support the development of the next generation of engineers and analysts through an in-house IMechE MPDS while providing Year-in-Industry internships and undertaking STEM initiatives with local schools and universities. Indeed, a shortage of suitably qualified staff is a common challenge for many clients. We help address these issues with flexible training, mentoring, support, consulting, secondment and candidate referral services.

Wilde Analysis was formed in April 1980 as a company called Finite Elements Ltd by David Wilde and colleagues at University of Swansea. Focusing on the knowledge transfer of academic FEA & CFD developments into industry, the company quickly became a consultancy for the rapidly growing nuclear sector within the North West of England.
From 1987, the company started supplying commercial simulation software from leading international developers and broadened to serve most engineering industries. As the Wilde group of companies expanded, Finite Elements Ltd was subsequently renamed ‘Wilde & Partners Finite Elements Division’ and then ‘Wilde FEA Ltd’ before becoming Wilde Analysis in 2010.
Since then, Wilde Analysis has joined with another ANSYS channel partner, Analysis Design Productivity Ltd, and has acquired 4-sight technical safety consultancy to further strengthen and grow through complementary services.
Today, Wilde Analysis continues to specialise in engineering simulation while also focusing on safety & reliability analysis and related design & optimisation technologies.
Wilde Analysis is a member of the Wilde Group, including companies involved in Civil & Structural Design and Technical Recruitment.
