Many graduates and researchers are attracted to work for a blue chip company when they first leave university. Although these companies can sometimes offer structured training programmes, there is always the risk that new recruits will end up undertaking repetitive, routine work within a specific department focused on a very narrow field of engineering.
Wilde Analysis is essentially engaged as an extension to a company’s engineering department, providing design advice, project delivery, technical support and training services. Typically, we are simultaneously working with a large number of clients from many engineering industries. Consequently, our graduate staff are quickly exposed to a wide variety of design and analysis challenges.
Working for Wilde as a graduate is not for the faint hearted. We do not wrap even our most junior staff in cotton wool. Of course, all staff are carefully trained and all work is checked by our senior staff according to our ISO9001:2015 approved quality standard. However, we expect every team member to become involved in live projects from the beginning. In return, we provide close technical and management support, an open-door policy to all staff, one-to-one mentoring and access to training resources. Furthermore, you won’t be alone. We recruit new graduates every year, so you will be among like-minded ambitious young engineers as well as experienced professionals.
Although we are smaller than a blue chip, we still take career development as seriously. All our senior staff are Chartered Engineers and some are Fellows. We actively help engineers progress through their Institution by our formally accredited Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS).
